If you’ve visited us lately you’ve probably seen a few changes occurring. The biggest changes are amongst our CAs (Chiropractic Assistants). We sadly farewelled Courtney (who has gone off on an adventure to live in the UK). Alex will be shortly off on maternity leave, but don’t worry, she will be back soon! Meanwhile new CAs have joined our team. We went through an extensive recruitment process (over 160 applicants) and have now hired Ana, Jaime, Danielle and Kate. We are also looking forward to welcoming Brooke back from maternity leave, later this year.

Our new team members have picked the job up very rapidly, and all our clients have been very kind, patient and welcoming. Ana and Danielle come with a wealth of knowledge, having previously worked in medical reception and administration. Jaime has made the shift from the clerical side of accountancy (and the most full-on job— motherhood) and brings her positive and can-do personality to the job. Kate, our new casual, is actually a chiropractic student at Macquarie University, and is balancing her studies with her work with us. Good luck in your studies, Kate!

Meanwhile, as you probably know, we farewelled Dr Øystein Kåsa. He has flown away to Newcastle to start his own practice only 75m from his home. We wish him all the best. But at the same time, after about 9 months of recruiting we have hand-picked two new chiropractors. We are incredibly lucky to have two very experienced female chiropractors joining us— Dr Lotte Hansen and Dr Joanna Cooper. Dr Hansen is taking over Dr Kåsa’s patient load in Gosford, while Dr Cooper is pioneering the three extra days that we have now opened up in our Wyong rooms. Which is the reason we have been growing our team so much in the first place— we are now open 5 days in Wyong.

We look forward to continuing to serve our many lovely patients in every way possible. You can see more about our team on our “Meet the Team” page.
