Welcome, Dr Kåsa!

We are proud to welcome Dr Øystein Kåsa to our clinic. He will begin accepting new patients at Central Coast Spinal Care Centre in December, 2015, and will be available most days, including Saturdays. Dr Kåsa has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and further expands the capabilities of the CCSCC Clinical team. He has previously worked in a similar multidisciplinary clinic, so he is no stranger to the high level communication and clinical acumen required in such an environment.

Dr Øystein Kåsa moved from Norway to study at Macquarie University in Sydney, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Master of Chiropractic Science in 2010. He has undertaken additional training in functional neurology, and continues to further his knowledge in this area, for the benefit of his clients and to further his keen interest in creating a well rounded treatment approach. Dr Kåsa believes in a holistic approach to healthcare— he sees that nutrition, exercise and a positive attitude are all integral parts of achieving optimal health. He also recognises that chiropractic is about much more than alleviating a sore back— chiropractic treatment can help improve your health, well-being, and ultimately your lifestyle!

Originally from rural Norway, Øystein grew up in the mountains, and enjoys many outdoor activities. He completed his first Bachelor Degree in Exercise & Sports Science at The Norwegian University of Sports. After completing his Masters Degree at Macquarie University, in Sydney, Dr Kåsa spent two years gaining valuable practical experience at one of the busiest chiropractic clinics in Norway, and has spent his last three years working in rural NSW. He is excited to start this new chapter, providing care to the community in Gosford and surrounding areas, in our multi-disciplinary clinic.
