Welcome to our 2016 Christmas newsletter!
We have had a very busy eleventh year here at Central Coast Spinal Care Centre. From celebrating milestones, to expanding services, we have had such a great year serving the Central Coast.
Happy 1st Birthday, Riverside Bodyscan!
In April, we celebrated Riverside Body Scan’s first birthday! We celebrated with a fruit cake (in true wellness style) lovingly prepared by our awesome Practice Manager, Gena. Riverside Body Scan has grown so much in a year, we cannot wait to see what the next 12 months brings for this exciting business.
Welcome Natasha McGrath, Social Worker
We welcomed Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Natasha McGrath to our team in November 2016. If your life feels like a scrambled mess, if you’ve received an unexpectedly bad diagnosis, if someone close to you has passed away, if you have experienced trauma or are the victim of crime, Natasha is the person to help you work out how to unscramble things. Natasha has been a wonderful addition and we can’t wait to watch this service expand in 2017.
Expanded Massage Services — Welcome Sarah Connell!
In 2016 Sarah Connell joined our massage services here at Central Coast Spinal Care Centre. We love being able to offer our patients more hours and days with the addition of this service and can’t wait to see her further grow in 2017.
Sad Farewells
In June we farewelled Dr. Dennis Jang, who moved to Korea to marry his beautiful bride! We miss him around here, but know he is doing great things overseas. We also said goodbye to Dr. Claire McVittie. We loved having Claire here for the two years she worked at our clinic and wish her all the best on her new adventure!
World Osteoporosis Day
To celebrate World Osteoporosis Day on October 20th, Angus and Nicky held a Patient Education Talk here in our building, educating the greater community about the risks of Osteoporosis and how to manage and prevent the disease. Joined by Trainer Monique Craft and Exercise Physiologist James Hewitt , the talk was a huge success. We look forward to having more Patient Education talks in 2017.
Expanded Dietitian Services — Welcome Ellie Fowler!
In 2016 we welcomed a new Practitioner to the fold. Ellie Fowler joined Nicky Saliba in the EatSense Dietitian department, offering patients Saturday appointments. She has also completed her Australia New Zealand Bone Mineral Society (ANZBMS) Bone Density & Body Composition analysis course, this year.
